Chris Bach

Chris Bach's love of making boring things more interesting began at a young age when he started spray-painting on trains, warehouses and other stuff you're not supposed to as a highly visual and delinquent youth. A few years later, as a bike messenger, his knack for spatial analysis helped Chris to avoid being squished by busses and so forth. He's also got a degree in French horn performance from Northwestern University, which I guess makes you really good at math or something. Anyway, I don't think anyone expected that he'd combine this seemingly arbitrary skill set and wind up using it to build furniture so cool and good-looking that you kind of want to take it out on a date, but that's pretty much what happened.

If you want to get ethereal, Chris's furniture can be said to exist at the place where assessing traffic patterns, maximizing the beauty of found environments and a concerto for the French horn somehow intersect. Buuuuut, that's only if you really insist on getting weird.
